Like us and our industry Perth – once the most isolated city in the world – underwent a rapid transformation throughout the 1980s to put its place on the map.

Into the 2000s, alongside the mining boom, Perth has developed into a significant business and investment hub in the Asia Pacific region creating employment opportunities, construction projects and population growth across the city and into the regions.

Scope BI has grown alongside WA sharing its story, to provide key services to business large and small statewide with offices extending from Port Hedland and Karratha in the north to Bunbury in the south.

We started out with an identified need for quality, prompt and reliable local sales and service to support a growing WA business community relying heavily on printers and photocopiers in their day-to-day operations to stay competitive.

Established in 1986 – and still 100% locally owned and operated – Scope has been leading imaging solutions since, growing to be WA’s largest copier/printer supplier and the largest independent dealer for Konica Minolta business equipment in Western Australia.

Back when we started out, business technology was a shadow of what it is today.

Headquartered in Perth, Scope offers extensive stock ranges in all major brands including Ricoh, Sharp, HP and Brother, alongside Konica Minolta. We provide seamless support to companies based in Perth who use our products and who have branches in the Pilbara or South West where the same company is to support them.

We also offer full inventories of spare parts, print consumables and accessories with full service capabilities across the city and across the regions – not just token shop front presence – to provide local business with simple no fuss solutions that just work and the business hardware needed now and into the future.

We pride ourselves on our place within local business communities to meet their needs on their terms, and we are especially proud to offer a full service print shop in Port Hedland, one of the most geographically remote parts of the planet.

Innovation in imaging

As an imaging industry innovator, we have recently introduced an online 24/7 self- configurator colour copier/printer service with a ‘No Lock in contract’ to cater for those situations where clarity or unsureness for the future is a concern, but efficiency in imagery is still required.

This unique service offers a range of solutions tailored to suit any budget and printing volume, delivered and installed in just a matter of a few short days with full colour capabilities, network printing, scanning and copying of all paper sizes up to A3.

With very low initial set-up costs, this model each business only pays for the actual consumable resources they use alongside a base monthly equipment rental.

In this way waste is mitigated and over expenditure on printing is eliminated to create the most cost efficient service available for many businesses in the market.
