  • This website (www.scopebi.com.au) (Website) is owned and operated by Laserfax Pty Ltd ACN 009 189 477 as trustee for the B&T Unit Trust ABN 39 411 098 263 of 80 Hasler Road, Osborne Park, Western Australiatrading as 'Scope Business Imaging'(Scope Business Imaging, we, us or our).

By accessing this Website and any pages or materials contained in the Website, you agree to be bound by the terms, conditions, notices and disclaimers contained in these terms and conditions, the Privacy Policy  and elsewhere on the Website (collectively known as the Terms).     1. All trade marks, service marks, trade names, branding and get-up (trade dress) on the Website belong to Scope Business Imaging or its licensors. Scope Business Imaging does not give you any licence or right to use them.

  • All prices for products available for purchase from this Website are listed in Australian Dollars not including GST. GST will be added to the total price of any products being purchased on the Checkout page.
  • Images have been provided for illustrative purposes only and we do not guarantee that any image will reflect or portray the full design or options relating to that product.
  • We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to limit the sales of our products or Services to any person, entity, geographic region or jurisdiction. We may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products or services that we offer.
  • All descriptions of products or product pricing are subject to change at any time without notice, at the sole discretion of us. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. Any offer for any product or service made on this site is void where prohibited.

8 - Placing Your Order

  • By placing an order through our Website, you make an offer to us to purchase the products you have selected based on the Terms. No information on our Website constitutes or should be deemed as an offer by us to supply any products, however, Scope Business Imaging will make every effort to supply products to you. We give no undertaking as to the availability of any product advertised on our Website.
  • To place an order through our Website, you must add item(s) from our online shop to the cart and then proceed to the Checkout page. You are then required to provide a valid email address, enter your shipping information and billing information (if it is different to your shipping information) and provide your payment information.
  • When you place your order and payment is processed we will issue you with an email confirmation of your order details including your order number.
  • Once the item(s) you have ordered have been dispatched, we will send you an email confirming your order has been shipped with the associated tracking details.
  • If we cannot process or accept your order after payment is received we will contact you by email or telephone.
  • Scope Business Imaging reserves the right to refuse service, remove or edit content, or cancel orders at its sole discretion. 

9 - Delivery

  • Delivery costs will be displayed after you have entered your shipping/billing address, phone and email. Scope Business Imaging reserves the right to change prices for delivery at any time. Delivery costs are influenced by the size and weight of the product and location. Delivery times are estimated at between 5 to 10 business days once dispatched depending on your location.
  • We will endeavour to process all orders on this Website within 48 hours, however due to circumstances out of our control this may not occur. If there are any unforeseen delays, you will be contacted.
  • At our discretion, orders will be shipped to you by Australia Post or by Foxline.
  • The shipping address must be to a registered personal or business address. For faster delivery, we recommend the use of a business address.
  • If a parcel sent by Australia Post is undelivered, it will be held at the nearest Australia Post depot. If a parcel is returned to us and needs to be resent, then you will be charged an additional administrative fee determined by Australia Post or Foxline from time to time.

10 - Payment Processing

  1. 10.1 Product purchases
    1. Scope Business Imaging currently accepts payment for productsavailable for purchase from this WebsiteviaPayPal, VISA, Mastercard and American Express. Payment processing will not begin until we receive all the information we need.
    2. We process payments for online purchasesafter you click the ‘Check out’ button on the Review & Purchase page in the online Checkout. Once your payment has been successfully processed, you will receive confirmation of your order which will advise you of your supply order number and purchase details. You will also receive, by email, a tax invoice confirming your order. Your tax invoice is your proof of purchase.
  2. 10.2 Payment of Tax Invoices
    1. Scope Business Imaging currently accepts payment of tax invoices raised under customer rental orders and service, maintenance and support agreements (Tax Invoices) online via the BPOINT portal linked on this Website.
    2. Once payment of any Tax Invoice has been successfully processed using the BPOINT portal, you will receive confirmation of your payment by email.
    3. We also accept payment of Tax Invoices via methods such as VISA, Mastercard, American Express, BPAY, electronic funds transfer and cheque, however these payment methods are not connected to this Website.
  3. 10.3 General
    1. for security reasons we reserve the right to decline any credit cards issued by banks outside of Australia;
    2. debit cards and cheque cards have daily spending limits that may substantially delay the processing of your order;
    3. you may be required to provide further identification for additional security reference checks.

11 - Limitations of Liability, Disclaimers of Warranties and Indemnity 

Subject to the rights you may have under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) (as amended) or other applicable legislation (Applicable Legislation), if any:

  1. content and materials on this Website are provided ‘as is’ and, to the extent permitted by law, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied;
  2. we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of acceptable quality and fitness for a particular purpose, title, compatibility, security, accuracy or non-infringement of intellectual property rights;

By accessing our Website, you agree to indemnify, hold harmless and, at Scope Business Imaging’s option, defend Scope Business Imaging and its affiliates, and its and their officers, directors, employees, stockholders, agents and representatives from any and all third party claims, liability, damages and/or costs (including, but not limited to, reasonable lawyers' fees and expenses) arising from or in connection with your use of our Website.

12 - Returns and Refunds

  • This clause 12 relates only to the purchase of products available for purchase directly from this Website.
  • Scope Business Imaging takes great care when packaging and arranging delivery of your order. All risk of loss or damage to items passes to you when they are dispatched.
  • Scope Business Imaging does not accept returns of any product purchases from our Website unless that product is faulty or damaged at the time it is delivered. We do not offer refunds for change of mind or incorrect selection.
  • Please ensure you inspect your order upon delivery. If you find that a product is faulty, damaged or missing from your order, please contact us immediately by phone on 08 9201 3000 or by email at info@scopebi.com.au, or otherwise as soon as possible.
  • We reserve the right to inspect any product that is claimed to be faulty or damaged before accepting return of the product. If any fault or damage is minor, we will repair the product within a reasonable time. If any fault or damage is major, then the product must be returned to us.
  • If the product has been returned and it is faulty or damaged, we will provide you with a suitable replacement product or a refund of the purchase price plus any delivery charges. Returned products may be subject to further inspection by the manufacturer before any refund is issued.
  • Claims for missing, damaged or faulty products will not be accepted after 14 days of delivery.
  • If Scope Business Imaging finds that your product is under warranty, we will reimburse you for the reasonable costs of claiming the warranty. You can contact us by email to arrange this.
  • Nothing in this clause 12 seeks to exclude or modify the rights you may have under the Applicable Legislation and any clause that purports to do so shall be ineffective.

13 - Privacy

  • We undertake to exerciseall due care with any information which you may provide to us when accessing our Website. However, we do not warrant and cannot ensure the security of any information which you may provide to us. Information you transmit to us is entirely at your own risk although we undertake to take reasonable steps to preserve such information in a secure manner.
  • We do not share or sell any personally identifiable information obtained via the Website to third parties, nor use the personal information otherwise than for its intended use. 
  • You consent to the collection and use of personally identifiable information about you in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

  • These Terms terminate automatically if, for any reason, we cease to operate the Website.

  • We have no liability for any costs, losses or damages of any kind arising as a consequence of terminating access to the Website.

15 - Force Majeure

Scope Business Imaging shall not be liable for any delay in performing any of its obligations under these Terms if such delay is caused by circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Scope Business Imaging and Scope Business Imaging shall be entitled to a reasonable extension of time for the performance of such obligations.

16 - Termination

  • If any part of these Terms are found to be void, unlawful, or unenforceable then that part will be deemed to be severable from the balance of the Terms and the severed part will not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.
  • These Terms will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Western Australia.
  • You agree to the jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia to determine any dispute arising out of these Terms.
